'No one needs a lonely Christmas time' is Marianne Mortensen and Michael Vesterskov's newest single release. A 'feel good' Christmas song, which nevertheless - as is always the case with Marianne and Michael - has something on its heart.

The song is inspired by Charles Dickens' A Christmas Story - where the moral is that our actions have consequences; but if we look inward - the individual person or as a society - there is an opportunity to do away with cynicism, brutality, greed, injustice and inhumanity.



‘We’re so many people
it counts me and you too
and we can change the weather
that’s what dreamers do

We’ll pray a prayer at Christmas
throwing love signs in the air
to a snowbird flying sky-high
saying: no one needs a lonely
Christmas time.’

As is often the case in fairy tales, good wins over evil in the end.
With a hope and a belief in it: a very merry Christmas.
